The History of PB&J’s BBQ

 PB&J’s has been making award winning BBQ since 2012. It began with watching a BBQ show on TV one weekend followed by a couple (or 100+) YouTube videos later and the BBQ obsession was on. Pitmaster Bert (or as almost everyone in the BBQ world knows him as “Skippy”) was ready to learn and even after working 8-10 hrs at the office he would make the drive to Royal Oak and do whatever was asked of him by Bubba’s BBQ & Catering LLC just to learn the in’s and out’s of making “good BBQ.”
 It all started with “Big Ole Black Betty” a smoker purchased at Lowe’s and the rest is BBQ history. Bert has taken countless BBQ classes in the last 9 years by well known BBQ Pitmasters (Bert has even taught a few of these classes himself and made a cameo on a BBQ show featured on The History Channel!) Bert has been asked to tag along to be “the pit-*assistant” for many of our #BBQFAMILY members when they have needed help at competitions that we didn’t sign up for ourselves.
 This man bleeds BBQ and after starting this as a hobby it most definitely turned into a passion, and his dream into a reality as we dip our BBQ knives into the world of BBQ vending with our new trailer! We most definitely will still continue to cater and help you make all of life’s special events better with our award winning BBQ where no event is too big or small! But we hope to now brighten peoples day with BBQ too wherever we end up selling from neighborhood block parties, distilleries, outside bars on the weekend, tailgating events or on a corner near you. –& BBQ
